01 — The profile
After completing secondary school, Oumar Sow studied in France and then in the United States, including at New York University and Pace University, where he earned an MBA in finance. He joined CSE on 28 September 1987, first as an executive assistant, then as administrative manager of a road-building operation in Sierra Leone, before becoming country manager in Guinea in 1994.3
He later rose to deputy managing director. When CSE was organized as a holding company in 2015, he was already chairing its Management Board while his father was still alive. Following Aliou Sow’s death in 2017, he continued the succession alongside his brothers and long-serving executives while expanding the group’s infrastructure businesses and subsidiaries.1,2,3
