Iyinoluwa Aboyeji is a Nigerian entrepreneur and investor, widely known as Iyin or “E.” He co-founded Andela in 2014 and Flutterwave in 2016, two African technology companies that later became unicorns. Background & perspective

In 2014, Iyinoluwa Aboyeji helped create Andela, connecting African technology talent with international companies. Two years later, he co-founded Flutterwave, a payments infrastructure company designed to simplify transactions for businesses across Africa and beyond. He served as its first chief executive before announcing his departure in 2018. Together, those experiences made talent, payments and digital infrastructure recurring themes in his work.2,5

He then devoted more of his work to investing. Future Africa, formalized in 2019, combines capital, community and operating support for African founders. The World Economic Forum selected him for its 2022 class of Young Global Leaders.
